SUMMARY OF POSITION
Cleans and services guest rooms and public areas as assigned, according to West Inn & Suites' standards of cleanliness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make beds
- Picks up, sorts, counts fold, marks, and carries linen.
- Vacuums rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies in rooms, hallways, and public areas.
- Sweeps and scrubs wet bar and bathroom.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies such as toilet paper, tissue, towels, and amenities.
- Scrubs countertops, sinks, and toilets.
- Replenishes other guest room supplies such as drinking glasses, coffee, water, and stationery, as required by room inventory.
- Dusts furniture; Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork; Washes windows door panels, windowsills, and blinds in rooms, hallways, and public areas.
- Empties and cleans waste baskets. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Reports needed repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Director of Housekeeping.
- Acknowledges guest by smiling, appearing friendly and helpful, answering questions and providing directions/information as needed.
- Delivers lost and found items to Director of Housekeeping.
- Follows up on guest complaints to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Keeps the line room and housekeeping carts clean and organized.
- follows all hotel and security policies and procedures.

- Assists guest with handling luggage
- Directs incoming calls courteously, receives and delivers telephone messages and incoming mail/faxes to appropriate guests and/or administration

Night Auditor |
| Job Description: |
Verifies accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to daily business transactions recorded by other staff. Staffs the hotel desk overnight, typically from 11 pm until 7 am.
-Closes day's work and runs required reports. -Examines ledger accounts, commissions paid, cash receipts, guest folios, balances total transactions to verify accuracy of recorded data. -Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustment. -Computes occupancy percentages, total receipts and compares results with recorded entries. -Compiles and provides reports to show stats such as Daily Rates, Occupancy, RevPAR revenue, adjustments, cash receipts, credit card transactions, and other items pertinent to business operations. -Delivers express check out bills and newspapers to guest rooms. -Audits daily attraction ticket inventory. -Performs a monthly inventory of administrative supplies. -Walks and inspects property twice nightly.
-Performs additional duties of Guest Service Associate.
